J Danielle reviews products that might be of interest to the S-O audience. Health and beauty items, electronics, new web sites, apparel are a few examples of products that are appropriate for review.

Want your event promoted?

S-O aims to inform its audience about events across the United States that may be of interest.  Poetry readings, book signings, special appearances, art exhibits, wine-tastings, adventure tours etc. are a few examples of events that receive top priority for promotion on S-O. Club/party events are not excluded; however, first priority is given to singles events, events with a known even male/female ratio, and parties with themes that may be of special interest to the S-O audience.

Want to be Singled-Out?

S-O aims to highlight people with interesting stories and projects. If you’ve written a book, had an issue profiled on the news, or have a great project in which S-O may be interested, send an email to singledout@writeme.com. Explain your idea and why the readership might appreciate it. The more tangible information you have is better i.e. links to your web site, any news stories in which you’ve been featured etc. S-O aims to inform its readership on where they can find more information rather than being the main source of information on an idea, product, business, or story.

Have a Topical Suggestion?

S-O accepts guest bloggers and suggestions for blog post topics. If your topic is inspired by you or someone you know, the more context the better.  Also, readers can submit questions to S-O for response and comment by J Danielle and other visitors to the site. Please indicate a name or alias by which you would like your question to appear. Anonymous submissions are considered. Contact S-O at singledout@writeme.com.

Got an Urge to be a Guest Blogger?

Maybe you are an aspiring blogger or perhaps you are a good writer passionate about a situation and would like to write about it. S-O accepts guests bloggers with good content.  However, you may be asked to make alterations to your content to ensure that it is consistent with the style and quality featured by S-O.  We prefer blog post content be original and not a re-post of information submitted and published by another site no matter how small.  If your blog is a re-post and you’d like for it to be considered, S-O may ask you to alter the blog post or make editorial suggestions more in line with S-O’s style.

Want to Meet or Be an S-O man?

S-O gives its readers (both male and female) an opportunity to hear from and interact with Single Men. If you are interested in a man that is featured, please use the contact information (typically a twitter url or web site link) provided in the post in which the SOM was profiled. Alternatively, if you wish to forward a personal email to an SOM (and his email was not a part of the profile), please send an email with the subject line “S-O-M” and the SOM’s name to singledout@writeme.com. Please very briefly indicate what caused you to write a particular SOM.

If you’d like to be profiled on S-O as an SOM, please submit a brief write-up of why you should be featured, whether you are open to receiving correspondence from females (or males) via S-O, your sexual orientation, a bio of less than 100 words, and publishable contact info to which you respond i.e. twitter url, web page link. Your personal email address will NOT be published; however, it may be used to forward correspondence from interested females or males as you indicate. Please also submit two photographs, one full-length and one from the waist up.  If you are profiled 1 or both of the photos may be used on the site. Finally, please indicate the name by which you would like to be called on the Web site. S-O prefers you use your first name only or a reliable internet alias i.e. one that you use for repeated business that is consistently associated with you. In order to be featured, you must submit your first and last name, even if you do not wish to have either name published.
